Biotin being the common ingredient associated with hooves, provides a form of sulphur to help promote hoof growth, but with additional sulphurs including Methionine and Lysine these help to build hoof strength and integrity.
- Methionine provides a form of sulphur to help build the di-sulphide bond that stabilises the keratin protein, which makes up the horn tubules and intertubular horn itself.
- Lysine is included to help enable normal protein metabolism, while zincs provide capabilities for hoof strength.
